I love it here. I don't know if all the cocktail lovers in Quincy know that this place should definitely be part of the Dotty's, Pearl and Lime, Idle Hour (RIP) loop. A few bites of their menu and you realize it's a level up from the normal skewer, spring roll, and Pho. Also my husband and I like to have our dates on the earlier side and we love that we don't have to wait until after 4 or 5. On a Friday restaurants should be open from lunch and on, or you are missing happy hours, and this place GETS it. Even the mocktails are amazing.

Food: As a Vietnamese native I was surprisingly impressed by the quality of the food. It definitely provides a comfort for food to the culture as well as modern update. The menu name is all Vietnamese base but there is English translation for the ingredients. The bone marrow was delicious and very fatty, could add a little bit more toast as the two little breads weren’t really enough. The chicken wings were crispy and flavored with soy, which reminds me of Korean fried chicken. The scallop corn dish was very tangy and tender. The lemongrass noodle was an interesting take because they use spaghetti noodles rather than your typical lo mein, but still relatively flavored well. The rice palette had a lot of food and it was very delicious. Everything was well tender, and the sauce that came with it was just the perfect amount of sweetness. The drinks were well-balanced with sweet and alcohol. However, some of the drinks were a bit inconsistent with how much of the pour was. Service: the service was quick and she made sure we had all of our meals and drinks accordingly. Ambiance: it’s a refurbish building from a previous fall place so there’s still a rather Asian ambience. There are some updated decorations, such as the lantern and the wood border that gives it that modern aesthetic. Location accommodation: it’s right at an intersection where there’s a few side parking spots for two hours.

Everything was amazing! Service was great, they were extremely quick and attentive. Food was outstanding! I loved the crawfish noodles & fried lobster roll — I would recommend those again! The Bun Bo Hue was nothing special but the chicken wings were flavorful! I highly recommend Le Madeline.

The service was amazing. Our server was very kind and attentive. The food was even better. We had the mussels, bone marrow, viet-Cajun noodles and banh khot. Everything was served hot and fresh and was beautifully presented. They even kindly gave a free dessert for a birthday. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.

We got the pork and shrimp summer rolls, chicken pho, and beef combination pho. We also got the combination rice plate with everything, including 2 fried eggs. Everything was fresh and very delicious. We also love the Vietnamese coffee and fresh limeade! Will definitely be coming back.

Dined in for dinner with a friend, and our experience was fantastic! We started with the lemongrass french onion dip paired with shrimp crackers—a perfect fusion of modern Vietnamese cuisine. While the dip leaned slightly on the salty side, it balanced well with the shrimp crackers. For the main course, I had the Pork Belly Vermicelli bowl. The pork belly was exceptionally tender with crisp edges. The combination of vermicelli noodles, egg rolls, and fresh vegetables, all brought together by the fish sauce, was great! My friend chose the Cajun Crawfish Noodles, and although I forgot to snap a photo, it was the STANDOUT dish of the evening. The garlic sauce added such a rich buttery flavor to the noodles and the crawfish bits were well seasoned. I would definitely come back to eat the cajun crawfish noodles again.

It’s not always easy to get to Quincy from Boston. Southbound traffic can be a nightmare but if you’re able to make the journey, or you have the fortune of already Quincy, Le Madeline is a special restaurant worth your visit. One of the first things that you notice about Le Madeline is the location, nestled proudly in a corner of downtown Quincy. The food is truly exceptional. Not only do they have more traditional Vietnamese favorites (pho, vermicelli noodles and rice) to please the purists, but Chef Peter’s original creation elevates this restaurant to an unbelievable level. Dishes like the Viet Cajun Noodles, Giant Prawns, and the freshly shucked oysters (Hau Nuong Mo Hanh) take you for a ride along not just the origins of where Vietnamese food has come from, but possibly where it’s going in the future. Seafood is definitely a major priority on the menu here. The Sa Te Onion Dip with a big fat dollop of caviar and shrimp chips was the perfect crunchy shareable finger food appetizer. And the Vietnamese inspired take on the New England lobster roll with tamarind (Tom Hum Rang Me) was out of this world. A big shout out to every single staff member. The service was genuinely kind and warm offering to explain all of the dishes and made us feel so welcomed. An inspired, well executed restaurant like this doesn’t come around very often and should not be taken for granted. Go now before they get even busier!

Everything was incredibly delicious.the staff was so attentive too. I felt incredibly fortunate to have shared this meal with my husband and two very special people to me who I seldom get to see. Loved that they paired a delicious drink with dessert. That lava cake was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. It took all of my will power not to finish it before the drink pairing arrived, it was that good and just got better with the nuances of the pairing. Thank you so much for a lovely experience
